Marble Magnets

I made up a dozen of these magnets to dress up the fridge a few months ago and made a dozen more this weekend since I didn’t have enough!  I found the plaid fabric in the remnants bin and though it would look good in our kitchen.  I am going to make a wall organizer with the rest of it to put pens and notepads in.  Now there are plenty of magnets as long as the boy will stop taking them down and attaching them to his Thomas trains!

Our kitchen is painted yellow, with white trim, and a snazzy border of animal print roosters!  (NO- I did not pick this out! It came with the house and we decided we could live with it since the alternative would be stripping wallpaper and repainting!)

Dresses to Skirts

I had a few dresses that I just wasn’t wearing anymore due to various issues I had with them!  Anyway, I liked all of the prints, so I turned them into skirts. I just cut them off where they fit comfortably, put elastic in the waists and that was it! Now they get a lot more use.
